71 Broad St , 71 Broad St, Charleston, SC 29401, USAWe'll meet on the East Bay Street staircase of the U.S. Customs House, at East Bay Street and South Market street, directly across East Bay Street from the City Market. We recommend guests park at 1 Cumberland Street or 89 Cumberland Street. Both are ~5 minute walk from our tour meeting point.
We generally end near the intersection of Meeting Street and Broad Street. The exact end point can change based on your group's walking speed, and your guide.

- Children must be accompanied by an adult
- Guests are responsible for bringing their own sun protection (sunscreen, hats, sunglasses, parasols) and rain gear
- We HIGHLY recommend guests bring bottled water. It is not always available for purchase on the route

Not a favorite tour, it was too long and the history that was shared was way too much for the average tourist. It was very hot and the guide tried to stop in the shade frequently but there was too much just standing in the middle of the bright sun. The guide was kind he just knew so much history that was not interesting to our group. We were expecting to see more of the downtown sites than we did.

We really enjoyed the tour and learned so many things that we didn’t know about Charleston. Dustin, our tour guide, was fantastic!! He made the tour so much fun with his humor and interesting stories. We laughed a lot as we walked through the city. We highly recommend the tour and Dustin as the tour guide. We were a group of 6 women who were childhood friends celebrating our 50th high school reunion.

Our tour guide, Dustin, did a wonderful job of importing a lot of history along with fun facts. I learned things I never knew before, such as where we get the term stepping stone, along with deeper information about slavery in this country. He painted the picture for us with his words, you could really feel the history. Dustin was also very welcoming as everyone gathered so we were introduced to one another and where we were traveling from.

Great tour of Charleston! We left the tour feeling like we had a good feel for the city and what is has to offer. If you want to get a lay of the land when visiting Charleston, this is a great tour for you. I would recommend doing it your first day because you will get ideas for things you want to do during your time there!
