Richard brought the National Archives to life!

Richard Robinson was amazing! It was worth every penny just to get into the Rotunda before the crowds, but Richard went way above and beyond. He seems to know everything about the Archives. He has back story anecdotes about everything you see (and some things you don't see!). He seems to have relationships and connections everywhere. I was with my wife and two teenage kids, and all four of us were enthralled every second we were with him. Richard made this whole trip worthwhile!

Meghan was fantastic! Highly recommend! Meghan provided an animated, interesting tour. We were able to see how he multiple degrees in different fields helped her provide the best tour. We found other people stopping and listening to our tour.

The National Archives with Richard

We had a wonderful morning with Richard viewing the National Archives. He shared fantastic stories that brought American history to life and provided exceptional service as we were the first in the rotunda to see the big three. Richard was an exceptional communicator and I highly recommend any tour with him.

National Archives - A priority for every tourist in DC.

Our tour of the National Archives was brilliant. This is a ‘must see’ tour for a stay in Washington as it takes you back to where it all began. Brenda was an outstanding tour guide with an exceptional knowledge of the National Archives history and an engaging presentation style. Her generosity extended to sharing knowledge of the local area and she was capable of managing content in an age appropriate way. As overseas tourists in the nation’s capital, this tour was a surprising highlight of our time in DC.

Too expensive for the value

I thought it was expensive Tour given access to the National Archives is free. I have participated on other tours where the value was aligned with the cost. It was worth $25 max.

Senior Trip
Darla_S
, May 2022
We were in DC for my daughter who was supposed to come here for her senior trip in 2020 with her class. It was canceled due to COVID so we were able to provide it for her this year. We really wanted a tour of the archives to get the most out of it rather than just saying we saw the constitution and bill of rights. She was very knowledgeable but it could’ve been condensed into an hour to hour and a half tour for us. Others might enjoy the amount of knowledge she was able to provide. She gave a very good explanation of how the magna carte started the process of the constitution and thus, the bill of rights! I would recommend this tour even though it lasted a little long for our taste.
